Corrections Policy
We would rather be corrected than be wrong. Here is how we handle errors and how you can report one.
Last reviewed:
SASSA rules, amounts and dates change, and no guide is ever perfect. When something on SASSA Status Check is inaccurate or out of date, we want to fix it quickly. This policy explains the process.
You tell us
Email us at [email protected] with the page and what you believe is wrong. A link to the official SASSA source helps us verify it faster.
We verify
We check the claim against the official SASSA and government sources. The official source is always the deciding authority.
We correct and date it
If the guide is wrong, we fix it and update the “last reviewed” date on that page so the change is visible.
We follow up
If you left contact details, we let you know what we changed. Thank you — reader reports genuinely make the site better.

Our promise
Every confirmed error gets fixed and re-dated. We treat corrections as part of doing this properly, not as an inconvenience — and we always defer to the official SASSA sources. See our editorial policy for how we research and review content in the first place.
